Food truck season is finally upon us! I had the absolute best time last summer going all over the city to taste from much anticipated food trucks in Montreal. This summer with my blog still on the go, I’ll be writing even more about each and every one I have the chance to visit.
Although there was a fair bit of delay in writing this post, my favourite photographer and best friend Brianna and I went to the hub of food trucks at Dorchester Square right downtown last week. On your average day if you’re in the area, the eastern side of the park just north of Rene-Levesque will have three food trucks to choose from! So if you haven’t checked out the schedule, this will be your best bet. As we slowly turned the corner, I was so excited to find Le Quai Roulant, one of last year’s personal faves, to be parked there for the day.
We both went straight for the fish tacos which were such a hit last summer! Without disappointment these were right up there yet again. If nothing else (although every last bit was delicious), the guacamole on these babies is to die for! The fresh tomato salsa was also a huge hit as it freshens up the whole thing. Mm!
If only I could eat their entire menu in one shot…but that’ll just mean we’ll be back for more!
Although the taco was satisfying for lunch, we had a craving for dessert where we split a chocolate, caramel, brownie, mousse-y delight from the guys at Alexis Le Gourmand. Another success!
